It’s a winner with the ladies looking for something pretty for themselves or others. Along with its smooth texture it offers an exhilarating full body wash.

Of course as we advise with all our soaps please enjoy the visual and aromatic properties by using slices from the base, which can be easily cut with any kitchen knife, leaving you with remainder to put on your bath room side. You can also do keep them as a beautiful display (even though we do encourage you to at least sample them for yourself), on the own or as part of your collection. With its vegetarian, natural ingredients it is the perfect gift to friends and loved ones, always guaranteed to be received we a heartfelt thank you.

Here are a few interesting facts about the essential oils, we use with all our products:

'Rosa' comes from the Greek 'roden' meaning 'red', as the ancient rose was thought to have been crimson. Avicenna, the 10th century Persian physician, used the rose as his first plant to distil and a rose distillery existed in 1612 in Shiraz, Persia.

Whereas ‘ylang ylang’ comes from a tall tropical tree about 20 meters (60 feet) high with large, tender, fragrant pink, mauve or yellow flowers and is cultivated in Java, Sumatra, Reunion, Madagascar and the Comores. The name means 'flower of flowers', where the oil is distilled from.

Both these aromas have been widely used and are loved the world over but they also give back some great benefits too such as:

Rose oil soothes and harmonizes the mind and helps with depression, anger, grief, fear, nervous tension and stress and at the same time helps with self-nurturing, self-esteem and dealing with emotional problems. Also it often helps with poor circulation and heart problems, which would include heart palpitations, high blood pressure and is also used to boost the liver and gall bladder. It helps breath breathing problems and the dreaded hay fever. Plus along with having natural elements that both moisten and hydrate your skin, whether you have dry irritated or mature skin, it also acts as an antiseptic.

Now with the ylang ylang oil it has a euphoric and sedative effect on the nervous system and helps with anxiety, tension, shock, fear and panic. It is particularly useful with rapid breathing and rapid heartbeat, it can also help with reducing high blood pressure and useful for intestinal infections. On the skin, ylang-ylang oil has a soothing effect and its balancing action sorts out over-dry as well as overly-oily skin by balancing the release of your body’s natural oils, and has a stimulating effect on the scalp which promotes more luxurious/ healthy hair growth.

All in all a great combination that makes you smell and feel great
